Our Story
Bunz Electric was first established in 1970 by Edwin Bunz, with a local focus that was started out of Edwin’s house. In 1980, the first shop was built and the Bunz Electric shop is still located in that original location.
From 1970 to today, the values that Edwin Bunz started continue with current owners Jay Zimmerman, Jason Zimmerman, and Patrick Kiefer – To always be there for our customers by providing the best products for them.
Ownership History
- Edwin Bunz owned and operated 1970-1990
- Ben Zimmerman bought in 1990 and retired in 2014
- Carl Blakely bought in 2000 and retired in 2020
- Jay Zimmerman bought in 2002 and is still currently with the company
- Jason Zimmerman bought in 2007 and is still currently with the company
- Patrick Kiefer bought into Bunz in 2018 and is still currently with the company
